We’re a fast-growing, well-funded open-source company on a mission to bring end-to-end data science solutions to users worldwide. We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager (PLG) to join us in driving market awareness and user acquisition by enhancing our product-led journey. You’ll have the option to work from our offices in Austin or remotely in the US in the CT/ET time zones.

Who you are

Experience: Solid experience in SaaS product marketing, supporting launches, and improving user journeys.
Results-driven: Skilled in crafting data-backed strategies and delivering measurable outcomes.
Content Creator: Strong writing skills for varied audiences and seniority levels.
Collaborative: Comfortable working across product, sales, and marketing, balancing diverse needs.
Tool-savvy: Proficient in GA4 and session recording tools to interpret user behavior.
User-Focused: You empathize with users and are ready to step into their shoes.
Confident & Flexible: Willing to host webinars, participate in video content, and give constructive feedback.
Self-Driven: Values transparency, kindness, experimentation, and works well independently across time zones.
Fluent in English (no German needed).

That's the job

Collaborate with product teams to boost awareness, attract users, and grow paid subscribers for our SaaS platform.
Enhance the journey from our free KNIME Analytics Platform to the paid SaaS product, focusing on user acquisition, activation, and retention.
Advocate for experiments that improve our product-led growth approach.
Coordinate go-to-market strategies and launch new products/features.
Tap into the open-source community to build brand advocacy.
Share customer success stories to create social proof for KNIME’s SaaS and open-source offerings.
Develop content that pulls in new users, enabling quicker activation and smoother onboarding (sales materials, in-product content, blogs, webinars, etc.).
