KNIME is growing rapidly and we’re seeking smart, motivated, and creative people up for the
challenge of helping us achieve ambitious scaling goals while continuing to empower the active
community. Right now, we are looking for an IT Operations Administrator (m/f/d) to join our team at KNIME in Konstanz.*
Who you are
You are a techy geeky computer- and IT-expert, who has experience with software and hardware
setups of all kinds in larger organizations and want to grow the infrastructure of our company. You
are not shy writing bash scripts yourself, connecting hardware or checking cables. You enjoy talking to
users and explaining them the basics of Windows and Mac settings (our Linux users know everything
better anyway - or at least they think so), but also discuss specifications and requirements in a team.
Moreover, you know how IT works in a large organization and how to roll-out new products and configurations
in a running production environment.
You also bring some experience in common SaaS solutions. We also wouldn’t mind if you bring along some knowledge of security concepts, monitoring and reporting and have experience administering and maintaining network infrastructure.
That's the job
In your role you built on top of the current IT infrastructure at KNIME and help us bring it to the next
level. You collect user requirements and research solutions that can be rolled out company wide
throughout all sites around the globe (ok, to be fair that’s Zürich, Berlin, Konstanz, and Austin right
now). You help ensure that despite the growing user base our corporate setup is still a safeguard and
our productive environment is up and running all the time.
