Right now, we are looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our team at KNIME in Konstanz or Zurich.*

Who you are

You are motivated to take responsibility for our Group accounting (subsidiaries in DE, CH, USA) and to improve its processes and tools.
Ideally, you have initial experience in management responsibility and would like to develop yourself further.
You are an experienced accountant or auditor/CPA and are ideally familiar with Swiss OR, HGB and Swiss GAAP FER for consolidation topics.
You are familiar with tax issues (income tax, VAT, transfer pricing).
You are prepared to take responsibility for topics and projects and to work independently with the team to find solutions to problems.
You communicate openly and honestly.
You have very good German and English language skills.
You have experience in dealing with auditors and can coordinate annual financial statements.

That's the job

As a Senior Accountant and tax expert at KNIME, you will take on tasks that go beyond the bookings for the three individual companies. However, you are also not afraid to make bookings yourself from time to time and to deputise for team members if necessary. You will coordinate, support and develop our team in the three individual companies and help with special cases. You will coordinate the monthly and annual financial statements and oversee topics such as transfer pricing, capitalisation of development costs and payment runs. You consolidate the results of the individual companies from Odoo in Lucanet and help with intercompany reconciliations. You look after the bank accounts and ensure efficient but flexible liquidity management. You will also take responsibility for projects on a case-by-case basis. As the team is based in Konstanz, you will be ready to come to the office regularly if you would like to work remotely.

Im Moment sind wir auf der Suche nach einem Senior Accountant (m/w/d), der unser Finance Team bei KNIME in Konstanz oder Zürich unterstützt.*

Wer du bist

Du bist motiviert, unsere Buchhaltung der Gruppe (Tochtergesellschaften in DE, CH, USA) eigenverantwortlich zu übernehmen und deren Prozesse sowie Tools zu verbessern.
Du verfügst idealerweise über erste (fachliche) Führungsverantwortung und möchtest Dich weiterentwickeln.
Du bist ein erfahrener (Bilanz-)Buchhalter bzw. Wirtschaftsprüfer/CPA und kennst Dich idealerweise mit Schweizer OR, HGB und Swiss GAAP FER für Konsolidierungsthemen aus.
Du kennst Dich mit Steuerthematiken (Ertragssteuer, Umsatzsteuer, Transfer Pricing) aus.
Du bist bereit, Verantwortung für Themen und Projekte zu übernehmen und selbstständig mit dem Team Problem-Lösungen zu erarbeiten.
Du kommunizierst offen und ehrlich.
Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
Du hast Erfahrung im Umgang mit Wirtschaftsprüfern und kannst einen Jahresabschluss koordinieren.

Das ist der Job

Als Senior Accountant und Steuerexperte bei KNIME übernimmst Du Aufgaben, die über die Buchungen auf den drei Einzelgesellschaften hinausgehen. Du bist aber auch nicht scheu, ab und zu selbst Buchungen zu erledigen und notfalls Teammitglieder zu vertreten. Du koordinierst und unterstützt und entwickelst unser Team in den drei Einzelgesellschaften weiter und hilfst in Spezialfällen. Du koordinierst den Monats- und Jahresabschluss und betreust Themen wie Transfer Pricing, Entwicklungskostenaktivierung und Zahlungsläufe. Du konsolidierst die Ergebnisse der Einzelgesellschaften mit unseren Tools aus Odoo in Lucanet und hilfst bei Intercompany Abstimmungen. Du betreust die Bankkonten und stellst ein effizientes Liquiditätsmanagement sicher. Zudem übernimmst du fallweise Verantwortung für Projekte. Da das Team in Konstanz ist, bringst Du Bereitschaft mit, regelmäßig dort ins Büro zu kommen, falls Du teilweise remote arbeiten möchtest.
